I’m here to make this simple for you! I understand that life is busy, especially if you’re in a season of parenthood. Once you reach out to me, you can expect an email follow-up to discuss your vision and ensure that our portrait priorities are aligned. Then, you’ll book your session and sign a contract. At that point, we prep for your session; be on the lookout for my session prep guide, which includes suggestions for outfits! You’ll hear from me in the time leading up to your session to make sure all questions are answered and you feel ready to show up and do what you do best – hang out with and love on your family!

What is your photography style?
My work blends a documentary approach with a painter’s eye. I focus on natural light, honest connection, and soft, intentional color — creating images that feel artful, timeless, and true to your family as you are. The goal is photographs that don’t just show a moment, but hold the feeling of it.
We’re not very “posed” people – is that okay?
Absolutely. Most of the families I work with feel this way. I offer gentle guidance when needed, but sessions are centered on movement, interaction, and being together rather than stiff posing. You don’t need to perform — just show up and be present.
What if my kids don’t cooperate?
I teach middle school and I’ve seen it all. Kids will be kids and that’s very normal. I work at their pace, follow their lead, and leave space for breaks, curiosity, and big feelings. Often, the most meaningful images come from those in-between moments.
What should we wear?
After booking, you’ll receive simply wardrobe guidance designed to photograph beautifully and feel comfortable. Coordinated, not matching, is the goal!
Where do sessions take place?
Depending on the session type, they may take place outdoors, in your home, or at a location that feels meaningful to your family. I’m happy to help guide location choices if needed. Generally, locations will be in or around Johnson County, TX or Fort Worth, but travel can be arranged.
Do you offer digital files, prints, or both?
Yes. Sessions include a curated gallery of high-resolution digital images, with the option to purchase professional prints and products if desired. I believe your images should live both digitally and tangibly — however you choose to enjoy them. Additional image downloads may be available for some session types, as well.
