I’m so happy you’re here! I’m an artist, photographer, teacher, and mom who’s always chasing light, color, and the stories tucked into everyday life.

I grew up in a close-knit family that loves documenting life with scrapbooks, recipe books, thematic summer camps, and piles of photos telling the stories of who we were, where we’d been, and what we loved. Looking back at family photos and the stories that go with them is near to my heart. I’ve got some of my favorites featured here… little me in some favorite ’90s outfits, feeding my favorite cow, Ugly, from the bed of the truck and riding the horse named Clyde with my cousin. Now I get to watch my daughter build her own collection of memories, like loving on Muffin, the cow we’ve raised from a baby, and giggling as her toes are licked by a scratchy cow tongue. (Side note: I LOVE sessions that include your animals!)

Photography is my way of capturing these fleeting, meaningful moments for others. I want my clients to feel like themselves – not posed or performing, just present, playful, and real. I try to guide and prompt rather than strictly pose, letting stories unfold more naturally. I love when families bring meaningful objects or traditions into their sessions (think: books, blankets, or special toys) because these details make the images uniquely yours.

Art and photography have always been inseparable in my life. I love taking my own reference photos and translating them into paintings or drawings whether it’s Escaramuza riders at Fort Worth rodeos, cowboys during a fall branding, or landscapes from family vacations. That same painterly eye guides how I edit every gallery. As I scroll through the session photos, I can’t help but name all the colors in my head and consider the textures, the light, and the story of each frame. I promise to pour my heart into each gallery I produce, usually with a 4-times-forgotten-and-microwaved coffee and probably a cat or kid in my lap. 

Every role I hold — artist, photographer, teacher, and mom — intersects to create the experience I offer my clients: a patient eye, a love for authentic moments, and a dedication to creating images that feel timeless, painterly, and full of heart.
